Relieve Stress Naturally With These Top Tips

If mid-year stress is getting the better of you and you can’t see the end of the year in sight just yet, try some of these to tips to help you relieve stress naturally.

Exercise is key

Even if you are feeling too stressed to fit exercise into your daily routine, it is important that you take time out of the busy day to exercise.  Exercise lowers your body’s stress hormones in the long run, such as cortisol. It also helps release endorphins, which are chemicals that improve your mood and act as natural painkillers. Exercise can also increase the quality of sleep which can be negatively impacted by stress or anxiety. So make exercise fun and have a gym buddy, running group or yoga class that you can commit to.
