Sales and Delivery

A sales agreement between the customer and Thrive only becomes valid once full payment has been made and proof of this has been received. Until this point goods remain the property of Thrive. Subject to product availability, orders will be processed within 5 working days and delivered through Courier IT courier service. Delivery is available nationwide in South Africa to all the major suburbs and most rural areas. Should the delivery area not be covered by the courier service, additional charges may apply. While all reasonable care will be taken for prompt delivery, delays in delivery are not grounds for return or refund. Once the order is delivered and signed for by any person at the delivery address, the sale is considered as completed, even if it was not personally received by the person who ordered it.

Payment Options and Privacy

Payment options include Visa  and MasterCard. Private information of the user is needed for placing e-commerce orders, and while Thrive undertakes to keep all information in the strictest of confidence, by using this website the user indemnifies Thrive from any losses, injuries or damages sustained because of this. All credit card transactions will be conducted using the strictest forms of encryption. Customer card details are not stored on our website and are dealt with in the strictest confidence by Virtual Card Services. More information is available on the Virtual Card Services website. Should you have any privacy concerns, please feel free to contact Thrive for discussion. The transaction currency of the Thrive online shop is South African Rand (ZAR) and the merchant outlet country is South Africa.

Security Policy

  1. Virtual Card Services process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The company registration documents and the site’s registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential information.
  2. Virtual Card Services is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Virtual Card Services Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  3. The Merchant does not have access to credit details.
  4. Virtual Card Services continually reviews and enhances its security in line with technological changes.

Cancellation, Return and Refunds

All orders are processed subject to availability. Should any item/s not be available, Thrive will contact the customer to discuss alternative options. Should a product be damaged or broken when it arrives, Thrive has to be notified within 24 hours of its arrival. Should the wrong product be received Thrive must be notified within 24 hours of its arrival. Thrive will then check if the incorrect product was sent, and if this is the case, arrange a swap. All products are sold with a 7-day satisfaction policy. If the customer is not completely happy with the product, it can be returned for a refund. Should the product be returned at the customer’s expense, in its original, sealed state and with a reasonable reason for dissatisfaction, the value of the product will be refunded. Should the product have been opened, no refund will be processed.
